Respect
All members must be highly respectful of our other members. Dallas College Venture Club is a professional workspace, where many companies are developing private and secure work. In order to keep the culture trustworthy, we ask that you do not copy, memorize or duplicate someone’s monitor, white or black board drawings, or other work product. All members must treat others as they themselves would like to be treated. Members must also treat the Premises itself with respect and care, including respectful use of the furniture.
Phone Privacy
At Dallas College Venture Club you are welcome to use your phone at your desk however we have provided members with alternative areas for more privacy. These areas include but are not limited to the webinar booths, as well as the conference rooms. Work needing to be done with greater privacy than is afforded by the Workspace should be done in scheduled conference rooms or additional workspace obtained from us.
Pets
We love our furry friends too, but please keep them at home. Due to allergies and such, pets and animals are not permitted on the premises.
Internet Usage
No spamming, posting, or downloading of any files, software, programs, etc., that you know, or reasonably should know are illegal or inappropriate is permitted. Any use of hacking or misuse of one’s computer within the Premises will not be tolerated and will be grounds for termination of membership. We do not make any representation and cannot guarantee any maintained level of connectivity to our network or to the internet, nor the level of security of the information and data that you place on it.
Guests
Any guest brought by a member must first sign in at the reception desk and is subject to performing any additional required steps according to our policies. All guests must remain with the member whom they came with. The inviting member will be responsible for all their guest’s actions. Guests are allowed to use the common areas.
