Accounting Software Options
This is probably the most popular accounting software out there. It has tons of features, integrations and reports to help you manage your finances like a pro. Plus, it's cloud-based, so you can access it from anywhere. The downside is that it can be pricey and complex for some users.
This is a great option if you're on a tight budget, because it's totally free! Yes, you heard that right. Wave lets you create invoices, track expenses, connect bank accounts and more without paying a dime. It also has a simple and user-friendly interface. The catch is that it has fewer features and integrations than other paid options.
This is an option for non-profit organizations who need to manage their donations, grants and fund accounting. Aplos lets you track your donors, campaigns and projects, and generate reports that comply with non-profit standards. It also has other accounting features like invoicing, banking and payroll. The downside is that it's not very suitable for other types of businesses.

Who is your customer?

Every business needs to have more than one buyer persona.

  • If you are a for-profit business these personas will be unique representations of your ONE category of purchaser. You'll need to build the different buyer types for your product or service.
  • If you are a non-profit you'll need to approach this with the understanding that you have TWO categories to communicate your services or products to. You have both (1) stake holders/donors and (2) end users. Each category will require identification and understanding to communicate with them.
